A crocodile's body is entirely covered in scales: those on the tail form a crest, while those on the back are thick, square, and partially ossified horny plates, unlike those on the belly, which are more flexible.

This brand new model was therefore made from crocodile leather, more precisely from the crocodile's tail.

But unlike our previous model, this one is made from the ventral part of the crocodile's tail.

This is why the recognizable keratinized parts are not present on this version.

This LUIS CROCODILE model is made from genuine crocodile skin.

This crocodile is protected and comes from legal and regulated hunting in Guyana.

Its breed is called "Caiman Crocodilus Crocodilus," better known in France as "Spectacled Caiman."

Crocodile skin is both very strong and supple, allowing for comfort and flexibility when traveling.

Its skin is then sent to Mexico where it is tanned and purchased by our workshop for manufacturing.

The upper is made of crocodile skin and the lining is made of cowhide.

The insoles and outsoles are made of leather and are stitched using the GOOD YEAR WELT process.

This product was imported by us into the EEC in full compliance with French, European, and global laws. The leathers used to make this product come from farmed animals. The global regulations for the protection of wildlife (WASHINGTON CONVENTION) have been complied with. Therefore, we can only sell it to you within the EEC.

It is recommended to have a pad placed under the sole to prevent wear and heat buildup in cold weather.
