Oil-tanned leather is self-healing and can be darkened with more conditioner, but the leather is versatile and hides imperfections. A little leather conditioner will keep the boots with a rich, oiled look, but if you like the lighter tanned look, leave them alone without conditioner.

The oil-tanned calfskin boasts great character with a timeless classic look.

Made with premium leather (no synthetics), these boots are made to last and become more comfortable over time.

These are crafted in the same Mexican style for which Gowest is renowned.

• The uppers are dragon-corded and measure 30cm high.
• The heel is a 4.5cm stacked leather.
• The soles are hand-set with lemon wood, reinforced with brass studs.

Our full leather insoles allow for width adjustments! They are built on a D base and feature a full leather insole that (once inserted) gives the boot a B (regular) width. Simply remove this leather insert for width D (wide), or leave it in for width B (regular). They'll fit comfortably on your feet either way.

These boots are dedicated to Pamelia Mann. She was one of the most interesting women of the Texas Revolution, having lent her oxen to the army and later becoming a businesswoman in Houston. This boot celebrates the flamboyant personalities of the founding women of Texas.
